Polyoxazolines are hydrophilic, biocompatible, amorphous alternatives to poly(ethylene glycol). They can be used as water-soluble or temperature sensitive polymer blocks for conjugation to polyesters or other polymers to create drug delivery systems such as micelles and nanoparticles.
