Storage Suggestions
Many of the products provided by PolySciTech are biodegradable and require careful handling to ensure quality. There is no single storage suggestion, due to the wide scope and breadth of our products. General storage protocols and suggestions for our various products are listed below:

It should be noted that these are the optimal conditions for long-term storage.
Most products will be flushed with Argon when packaged for shipping. It will say this on the label. This will protect the product under any conditions as long as the container remains closed and sealed.
Allow frozen/refrigerated products to equilibrate to room temperature, preferably in a desiccator cabinet, prior to opening.
**Note that short excursions to higher temperatures during shipping or handling will not significantly affect product quality. If product is received thawed, refrigerate, or freeze as instructed above.
Shelf Life
As these products are novel, in most cases exact shelf-life determination is not readily available. When stored as directed, however, the products have an estimated shelf-life as follows:
- Block copolymers (AK***'s) and Polyesters (AP***'s): 10 years
- Reactive Intermediates (AI***'s), reactive PEG's (AE***'s), Fluorescent label polymers (AV***'s), Monomers (AM***): 5 years
- Others (AO***'s), Kitopure: Generally 10 years, but varies widely based on type.
Note these are general guidelines and exact shelf-life depends on product storage conditions and type.
