PLGA-g-PEG polymers from VIVOS

Deliver your active pharmaceutical with quick-dissolving, biodegradable thermogel consisting of poly(lactide-co-glycolide)-graft-poly(ethylene glycol). Initially developed at Pacific Northwest Laboratories and further refined by a collaboration between Vivos, Inc. and Akina, Inc. The graft PLGA-g-PEG dissolves in cold water within 2-5 hours rather than 1-2 days as is typical for PLGA-PEG-PLGA triblocks enabling ease of drug delivery development.
Model Usage Example: BSA-FITC
A hydrogel solution (30%) was created by dissolving VP002 into PBS. And into this solution an equivalent of 1 mg/ml BSA-FITC was added to the vial. 1mL of the solution from the vial was pipetted into three different Float-a-lyzer G2 dialysis cartridges (300kDa MWCO), for a load quantity of 1mg BSA-FITC per cartridge. The cartridges were incubated in 40 ml of phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% Tween 20 (PBST) with orbital agitation at 100 RPM at 37°C. At each time point the outer layer was removed and refreshed with new PBST and tested for BSA-FTIC content by UV-Vis absorbance at 496 nm compared to a calibration curve. Test done in triplicate, chart below shows average ± standard deviation.
